“Teacher,” the very word conjures up memories of people who were always there to help me.  I had been one of those children who needed a little extra help to learn to read.  Bless all teachers that taught me that, and more.  Reading Rabbi Shifren’s account on what he had to go through at the hands of those who should have been there to help him, is beyond words.

What was done to Rabbi Shifren and other teachers who dare speak the truth will be remembered with shame in this nation.  We need to come to grips with the fact that there are those that want to destroy America from within.

Rabbi Shifren’s book “Kill Your Teacher” must be read to understand what has happened to our once great California School System.

California’s schools have gone from being the best in the nation, to being the worst in the nation.  Children are leaving our schools without knowing how to read or write simple sentences.  Illiteracy has become the norm. Those that make it through the system often find themselves going to remedial classes in college.  Or worse, they find they’re incapable of functioning in society, not being able to get a job or fill out a simple application.

I am humbled and honored to have met Rabbi Shifren and applaud his efforts to bring the truth to light in his book.

Blessings,
